Training in chain drive systems includes: Introduction to chain nomenclature; assembly, disassembly, alignment, and maintenance of chain drive systems; Use of straight keyed bore, taper bore, taper lock, and QD bushings is also addressed. Gear maintenance applications include: Gear identification, installation, alignment, and troubleshooting; Mounting and shimming tapered roller bearings using several different bearing housing types.
